[WEEK 41/52]: Here’s 12 images to make your day 1% better - have a great week! 🙏
[TOPIC]: Hopefully these thematic reminders and quick visuals bring you (at least) one tidbit of positive thinking, today!
Dear Founders & Friends,
I’ve now worked remote for 12 years in a row. Over that time, I’ve collected many quotes and visuals to help me keep perspective, and remain positive.
I’d like to share some with you all, I hope it helps:
Delusion is Good
In 2026.. Sam Altman and Elon are enemies.
But in 2019 Sam Altman respected, and learned, from Elon Musk. Delusion is one of the most powerful forces in creation. If you don’t believe you’re going to do it… who is?
Perspective is Everything
Focus on what you can control, and find the beauty in the madness.
“No Pain… No Gain”
-NVIDIA
Jensen is now CEO/Founder of largest company in the world, NVIDIA. But he started out as a janitor, immigrant, who came to America and left his family back abroad. What a champion. He knows pain is growth.
Be Thankful
I love the way this man lives. I hope to emulate it. When something bad happens… train your brain to first be thankful for the good. This is an incredible tip from the legend himself, WB!

Live By Your Standards
Side Hustle or Main Hustle… just do something that will bring you freedom! Escape the rat race as young as you can, it gets 1000x harder as you age.
Focus on the Field
Focus on what you can control in the immediate present moment. The past is the past, the future is unknown, you can only do your best right now.
Support Systems are Key
Tell your parents you love them. This is not from my Dad, but this is definitely the same style of parenting as I thankfully received.
Show Up
It’s live in person.
If you just showed up to the gym 365 days this year, I bet you’d be super healthy and in shape.
Pick your problems
My Dad says, if everyone threw their problems into a pile, and you got to pick, You’d probably take yours back out.
Create Luck
My Dad always told me, “you create your own luck.”
I asked my best friend Corey for a quote for today’s newsletter, and his thinking is along the same lines:
Randomness
From stock market to pandemic, stay ready for anything!
Here’s a visual reminder of just how random the world can be. Actual photo’s from 2020 COVID.

Burn the Boats
Have a great day, readers!
ONE MORE THING
My advisor, Larry, always told me, “it’s very important to have a thing.” Once you have a thing, you can build on it. Here’s a great visual representing that mindset.
Enjoy your Monday!!!
Hopefully these quick visuals brought you one bit of positive thinking today!
~DON
Ps. Next week we’re launching a video based around Shark Tank for Stocks I’ll be pitching my friends 7 of my deals so they can poke holes in the thesis.
